Every mug in the cupboard was built for a hand that has never held a bar.
This one wasn't.
One mug answers all four.
One handle answers all three.

★★★★★
"I grab this for pre every morning at 6am before heading out. The weight and feel are spot on, like it's actually made for people who train. No regrets spending a bit more for something this dialed in."

28 mm and knurled. Grips like the bar you train with.
Vacuum insulated and double walled.
Walls up to twice as thick as a normal insulated mug.
Takes the knocks of a desk. Not sealed, so keep it upright.
Mug and lid both. The logo is etched into the steel, so nothing peels.
A full cup of coffee, not a half one. 1.1 lb empty.
Take a closer look at the handle.
Same 28 mm as a barbell. Knurled the same way.
Two fingers through, and your knuckles ride on the mug body.

All four fingers go through a 28 mm knurled bar.
Don't take our word for it.
"This is a very solid mug that feels great in my hand. The knurled handle provides an excellent grip."

On quality
★★★★★"... The price seemed a little high at first but it's clearly a high quality & heavy duty mug; I'm definitely not afraid of it breaking!"
Nathan Phillips · Verified Buyer
On the grip
★★★★★"Handle is a great size for adult hands. Can fit all my fingers around the handle with room on the top and bottom. My knuckles don't hit the mug body which was always a pain with my other mug."
Doug V. · Verified Buyer
On the size
★★★★★"My shelf is stacked with mugs, but this one has become my favorite. The handle feels way better than anything else I have and the size is perfect for my morning coffee. I use it pretty much every day now."

On staying hot
★★★★★"I start my day with some fresh pour over coffee and it's still hot by the end of my first few meetings. It also fits a Coke Zero with ice. Looks great!"

Thicker walls than the other insulated mugs. Steel where ceramic chips, and a handle your whole hand fits through.
The questions we actually get.
Fair question. A ceramic mug off a shelf costs a fraction of this and will not do what this does. Against the cheaper insulated mugs the difference is the build: a CNC machined, custom made body, walls up to twice as thick as a normal vacuum mug, a knurled 28 mm barbell handle, 304 stainless, and two years of warranty behind it. Across those two years it works out to about six cents a morning.
Heavier than the mug you have now, yes. It is 1.1 lb in hand, empty, and that weight is thicker 304 stainless and a solid handle rather than filler. It is nowhere near the weighted novelty mugs, which are built to be lifted rather than drunk from.
The honest answer is that it is splash-proof, not leakproof. It takes the normal knocks of a desk or a kitchen counter, but it is not sealed, so keep it upright when you move it. If a lid fails in the first 30 days we replace it free.
Yes, mug and lid both. Plenty of stainless mugs ask you to hand wash so a printed finish survives. This one has no coating and the logo is etched into the steel, so there is nothing to chip, peel or fade.
Bigger than the mug it replaces. It holds 16 oz, stands 5.4 in tall and measures 5.5 in across with the handle. That size is the trade for a full cup instead of a half one.
Six hours out here. Still hot.
If it isn't right, you're covered.
Drink from it every morning for a month. If it isn't for you, tell us inside 30 days and you get your money back.
Returning the mug costs you nothing. No restocking fee, and nothing deducted from the refund.
Defects covered, replaced or refunded. That is two full years from the day it arrives.
If the lid fails in the first 30 days we send you a new one. You do not have to return the mug to get it.
Orders leave the warehouse inside two business days. US shipping starts at $10 and is free over $80.
I built this mug because I wanted one and couldn't buy one, and I stand behind every one that leaves here.
