In the midst of a powerlifting career and testing phase of hook grip in the gym, grabbing a cup of water sparked the idea: why isn't there a way to hook grip a mug? In 2019, the Tuff Mug idea was born. Like most ideas people have, it fizzled away and life continued forward. Four years later, the idea resurfaced and amongst the new trends of portability and tumblers, we pivoted from mugs to tumblers. This is where our journey to make the worlds toughest tumbler lies today. 

Being in the gym for over half of my life (15 years), I have witnessed the cycle of people flooding the gyms during the New Year with goals and high ambition - only to slowly decrease frequency and eventually quit. Gym veterans from all disciplines: powerlifiting, weightlifting, strongman, and everyone who uses resistance training to improve their quality of life, can all use help to achieve their goals. Our goal is for our products to serve as a reminder of your ambitions and sustain the spark of motivation in your journey towards success.
